In 1995, I began training with the Upledger Institute. I took all the trainings that the Institute offered which were; CranioSacral, Mechanical Link, Lymph Drainage and Visceral Manipulation. Taking the classes and retaking the classes then assisting the classes in CST, LDT and VM has given me a very deep understanding of how to evaluate and find tension placed in the body from old injuries creating pain and dysfunction and most important how I can gently massage and release the tension. The difference in this approach is the evaluation to find the source of the pain or symptom. For example, say you are having hip or knee pain but you haven’t injured your hip or knee but you sprained your ankle some years back. Tension gets locked in bones, arteries, nerves of the ankle putting a strain on the hip or knee. An evaluation of a trained therapist can find the source and gently massage the tension out of the bones, arteries, or nerves. Having had braces or dental trauma can lead to migraine headaches. Tension locked in the teeth can be gently massaged away! My client-focused sessions integrate multiple techniques (listed below) to help release acute or chronic pain, whether it's from physical injury or emotional trauma. I support the physical body with manual & therapeutic bodywork techniques, and the emotional with somatic counseling/coaching : trauma-informed processing at a systemic & individual level. At the foundation of all my work, I utilize comprehensive energy medicine principles, to address the underlying energetic patterns and root causes that might be contributing to pain patterns. By working holistically, I believe the body can fully release the pain in order to restore and recover.

Inclusivity is a value that I hold strongly, and I have clients from a range of ages and backgrounds. I am always working to model consensual and empowering communication.

I have 2800 hrs of training in modalities including: Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Family & Systems Constellations, Identity Development constellations, Somatic Experiencing, Visceral Manipulation, Abdominal Therapy (Anterior), and more. I am still actively engaged in continuing education, as I have a profound love of learning.
