After starting my career as a Physical Therapist in 1986, I realized there was much more to being a healthy human being than just the musculoskeletal system. Becoming a Hellerwork practitioner and studying movement were early steps outside the box. The osteopathic approach has been my biggest step into a bigger box. The Chikly courses have been part of that and have been wonderful in increasing my awareness and ability to help people with difficult issues.

Helen is a Registered Massage Therapist, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, and Lymphatic Drainage Specialist. She has a unique and diverse background that has lead her to where she is today. This includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Kinesiology from the University of Calgary (2002). Her 20 years of experience as a performer, choreographer and teacher of contemporary dance, as well as instructor of somatic movement and yoga; provide her with extensive knowledge of the body, mind, and spirit in motion. Helen transitioned from the dance profession to the health industry in 2017, where she weaves her knowledge into the fabric of her massage and craniosacral therapy sessions. Massage therapy sessions involve a fluid integration of advanced techniques (deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point release, and dynamic cupping), with a strong focus on therapeutic relief and relaxation. Helen uses her craniosacral practice to treat patients who have trouble tolerating deep pressure, using a gentle and intentional touch. Certified in both Vodder and Chikly practices of lymphatic drainage (Level One and Two), Helen works with clients to reduce chronic inflammation and toxic overload in their systems, and she is committed to the ongoing study of the lymphatic system. Helen strives to address the root cause of discomfort and soft tissue dysfunction, while catering to the unique challenges and goals of each client. She is passionate about helping clients improve their body, mind, and spirit connection through awareness, restoring balance, and moving through life with ease.
