I am a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist and hold the Specialty Certificate in Oncology Massage. With over 30 years of experience I have had an opportunity to develop a very diverse skill set and have provided massage therapy services and worked side by side with other healthcare professionals in training rooms of collegiate athletic programs, in hospitals, cancer centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation practices. Since 2016 I had been part of the Integrative Care Team at the Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital utilizing massage therapy and lymphatic techniques to support patients during chemotherapy, radiation, and post-surgery. I have a very small, carefully curated, private practice in Phoenixville, PA where I constantly and consciously strive to balance clinical integrity with holistic practices specializing in therapeutic massage and lymphatic techniques supporting medically involved humans including people in cancer treatment, metastatic and active survivors, pain management, post-operative care, and prenatal massage.

I have been practicing Massage Therapy in Athens, GA since 1985.  I graduated from the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida where I studied Swedish massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Polarity Therapy, and Connective Tissue Therapy. I received advanced certification as a Neuromuscular Therapist from Paul St John Seminars. I've also studied  Lymphatic Drainage Therapy at the Chikly Institute.

In 1990 I went on to study CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and did my advanced level training in 2000. I learned a lot during my two externships at the Upledger Institute’s HealthPlex Clinic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. And, I enjoyed working as a Teaching Assistant for CranioSacral Therapy 1.

As a Medical Services volunteer, I had the honor of serving as Massage Therapist to the Olympic gold-medal winning Nigerian Soccer Team in 1996.  I also had the privilege of providing Sports Massage Therapy to the 1997 SEC Championship winning Georgia Gymdogs.  Some of my most rewarding work has been doing CranioSacral Therapy for children with Reactive Attachment Disorder at the Center for Attachment Resources and Education in Decatur, GA.

I also practice Energy Medicine in the Andean tradition.

As a Professional Member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, I was a member of the Government Relations Committee and the Bill Writing Committee.  This work resulted in the passage of the Massage Therapy Practice Act in 2005.  This Act provides for minimum standards and licensure for Massage Therapists in the state of Georgia.

I have earned national certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
