I'm a massage therapist and lymphatic drainage practitioner. I am passionate about helping women with auto-immune issues feel empowered in their well-being. I have lived this experience myself over the past 25 years and for 18 years I have worked in the wellness industry with various physicians and therapists. What I noticed is that inflammation increases with emotional frustration about feeling powerless over our bodies and our health. This is why I became a massage therapist and specialized my services to help reduce inflammation and help you feel empowered to improve your health.

At 27 I was diagnosed with several auto-immune conditions including Lupus, MS, vasculitis, transient ischemic attacks (mini-strokes), and a hole in my heart. At the time I was working at the National Institute of Health and studying psychoneuroimmunology. Traditional medicine and the top specialists couldn't help me and after a few years I turned to complementary/alternative medicine and I found relief. Eventually, this led to me studying holistic massage at the Edgar Cayce Institute in Virginia Beach and I've been healthy and prescription free for almost 20 years now.

My preferred tools are my hands which have been trained in many therapeutic modalities over the last 25 years including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Eden Energy Medicine, Thai Massage, LaStone Therapy®, Acupressure, Aromatherapy and classical spa treatments. As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist of the Lymphology Association of Northern America® (LANA®) I am honored to be acknowledged as a highly trained expert in lymphedema management. As holistic massage therapist, I integrate these insights to promote optimal health. I see it to be my humble duty to empower you to learn about your health, explore possible causes of your illness and use the body's innate wisdom combined with the healing power of nature to truly achieve wellness.

I'm a physiotherapist who likes to help people feel better, function optimally and prevent illness. I had my own issues after a fall on my buttocks and after having an autoimmune issue post having twins. This contributed to my thirst for understanding how to help the body heal, how to completely heal after injury and how to prevent injury. This has lead me on a wonderous journey on body mind and spirit. I even became a life coach so that I could understand and help people manage stress. I have training in craniosacral therapy, somatoemotional release, visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, lymph drainage, arterial work, brain work and embryological process.
