I have been practicing Massage Therapy in Athens, GA since 1985.  I graduated from the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida where I studied Swedish massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Polarity Therapy, and Connective Tissue Therapy. I received advanced certification as a Neuromuscular Therapist from Paul St John Seminars. I've also studied  Lymphatic Drainage Therapy at the Chikly Institute.

In 1990 I went on to study CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and did my advanced level training in 2000. I learned a lot during my two externships at the Upledger Institute’s HealthPlex Clinic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. And, I enjoyed working as a Teaching Assistant for CranioSacral Therapy 1.

As a Medical Services volunteer, I had the honor of serving as Massage Therapist to the Olympic gold-medal winning Nigerian Soccer Team in 1996.  I also had the privilege of providing Sports Massage Therapy to the 1997 SEC Championship winning Georgia Gymdogs.  Some of my most rewarding work has been doing CranioSacral Therapy for children with Reactive Attachment Disorder at the Center for Attachment Resources and Education in Decatur, GA.

I also practice Energy Medicine in the Andean tradition.

As a Professional Member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, I was a member of the Government Relations Committee and the Bill Writing Committee.  This work resulted in the passage of the Massage Therapy Practice Act in 2005.  This Act provides for minimum standards and licensure for Massage Therapists in the state of Georgia.

I have earned national certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Hello, I live in Baltimore Maryland and I would love to work with you to help you find a way to live in harmony and in peace with your body and to help with those who are dealing with chronic pain issues. I've I've been practicing hands on modalities for 30 years, I also am a childbirth educator and Doula and have been a certified yoga teacher for 30 years, as well. I have a focus on teaching people how to breathe well and live well in their bodies. I love to practice and teach people meditation and movement practices to help them feel good in their bodies.
