Class Description:

Lymph Drainage Therapy is a cutting edge hands-on method of lymphatic drainage developed by Bruno Chikly, MD, DO, LMT.

It was created out of his award-winning research on the lymphatic system consistent with recent scientific discoveries.


In LDT3, you'll continue to hone your application skills to increase your effectiveness as well as learn numerous technique subtleties to expand your practice range. This advanced class covers deeper lymph and interstitial flow. Dr. Chikly sometimes considers LDT3 the real start of the LDT curriculum.
You will learn techniques to address the organ of the senses viscera and body joints. Advanced class preparation is highly recommended (see below).

 

Attire/Supplies:

Bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. Some of these approaches require touching exposed skin. We encourage you to bring a bath towel, lab clothes, and appropriate undergarments to be comfortable.

Short fingernails are required for some techniques.

Due to the potential chemical sensitivities of your classmates, please refrain from wearing perfumes or oils to class.

Please let the institute know if you can bring a treatment table.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Tuition Transfer: The tuition is fully transferable up to 30 days before the start of the class.

Within 14 days, a $200 administrative fee will apply.

Within seven (7) days, there is no refund of the deposit.

Tuition Refund: Tuition refund requests must be made in writing. Emails are acceptable. Tuition is fully refundable up to 30 days before the start of the class, after which your tuition is non-refundable. In case of an emergency, any requests for a refund later than 30 days before class starts will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Class Preparation / Preparación de la Clase

An in-depth advanced study of anatomy is a prerequisite for this class. Please read in Dr. Chikly's book, Silent Waves Part 1 Chapter 10, Part 4 Chapter 1,2, and 5, and all of Part 5.
Also, please review the list of words and see where you stand with your knowledge. It is of utmost importance that you prepare for this class in advance - even if you don't plan to attend the class for a year or so, it is not too early to begin your study of anatomy structures. We have provided below a list of terms for you to familiarize yourself with prior to attending this course.

  • Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM)
  • Periosteum, perineurium
  • Aqueous humor, vitreous humor, sclera, anterior chamber and posterior chamber of the eye, Schlemm's canal
  • Choroid, retina, cornea, lens, optic nerve, optic chiasma, cataract, glaucoma, retinitis, macular degeneration
  • Auricle, tragus, antitragus, intertragic notch, helix, antihelix, concha, cavum, cymba, lobule, external auditory meatus
